High-ticket closing has become the most accessible six-figure remote career on the planet — and the most crowded with bad advice. This is the path we actually see work, stripped of guru theatre.
Stage 1: Build the base (weeks 0–6)
- Master one framework end-to-end — pick SPIN, Sandler, or NEPQ and stop shopping.
- Record 30 mock calls. Listen to all of them. Most reps refuse to do this — that's the edge.
- Learn one CRM well (HubSpot or Close) and one dialler (Aircall or Orum).
Stage 2: Land your first setter seat
Almost no one starts as a closer. Start as a setter on a £3–10k offer. You'll book meetings, get reps fast, and learn pipeline mechanics that no course can teach.
Where to actually find the seats
- Vetted communities and placement platforms like RepMatch.
- LinkedIn DMs to founders who post about scaling their setter team.
- Coaching and agency networks — high churn means constant openings.
Stage 3: Earn the closer chair
Inside 90 days as a setter, ask to shadow closer calls and submit recordings. The first closer seat almost always comes from inside the org you already work with — not a cold application.
The fastest closers we've placed weren't the loudest. They were the ones who asked for feedback every Friday for twelve weeks straight.
Stage 4: Compound
Once you can close consistently on one offer, your income compounds: better offers, larger deal sizes, multi-offer stacking. A focused rep can move from zero to a £10k commission month inside 9–12 months. We've seen it dozens of times.
If you're ready to be placed onto a vetted offer, join the RepMatch talent pool — we only forward serious reps to clients.
